The fine print
Privacy
Last updated October 18, 2026.
Rensha Loop does not have an account, a newsletter, or a tracker tucked in the corner. The app does not send me your photos, your bursts, or a profile of you. This page is the whole policy.
The app on your phone
The camera is used to take the burst. Those frames stay on the phone while you review them. Leave without saving, and they go with you.
Saving writes the film, and the frame grid if you ask for one, into your photo library. Sharing opens the system share sheet. Where a film goes after that is between you and the app you hand it to.
Settings
Frame count, shutter interval, playback speed, film, and grain are remembered on the device, so the next burst starts where you left off. That lives in the app’s local settings. It is not uploaded as a profile.
The five free saves
Steady and Build keep a count of how many times you have saved one of those films. The count is a number. It is not the photo. It is stored in the iPhone Keychain and, if you are signed into iCloud, in your iCloud key-value store, so a reinstall cannot quietly reset the free saves. I never see that number. Sequence saves are not counted.
The unlock
Unlimited Steady and Build saves are a one-time in-app purchase, sold and billed by Apple. Apple handles the payment, the receipt, and any refund. I do not receive your card, your Apple ID password, or a copy of what you bought beyond the app learning that this Apple ID owns the unlock.
What I do not do
No analytics. No advertising. No tracking across apps or websites. No account. Nothing is sold, because there is no pile of information to sell.
This website
rl.jonk.org is a static site. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. There is no form and no account. The host may keep ordinary server logs, the kind a site keeps so it can stay up. I do not use those logs to identify you.
