The fine print
Terms of use
Last updated October 18, 2026.
These terms cover the Rensha Loop app and this website, rl.jonk.org. They are written in plain language. They are still the terms.
The app
Rensha Loop is an iPhone camera. It takes a short burst of square photos and turns them into a looping video. The camera, the photo library, and the share sheet work the way iOS already lets an app use them. You need an iPhone on iOS 17 or newer.
What is free
Sequence is free. You can shoot it, play it back, and save it without paying.
Steady and Build include five free saves, shared between those two modes. After five, saving another Steady or Build film needs the unlock. You can still shoot and preview. The gate is on the save. Sequence saves do not use up the five.
The unlock
The unlock is a one-time in-app purchase from Apple, product app.stomo.ios.compose. It removes the save limit on Steady and Build for the Apple ID that bought it. Sequence was already unlimited. Restore purchase puts the unlock back on a phone signed into that Apple ID.
Apple processes the payment. Refunds go through Apple, not through this site. If the App Store you are using does not sell the unlock, Sequence still works.
Where it is offered
Rensha Loop is not offered in the European Union App Store. That is a choice about paperwork, not a sign that the app collects something extra anywhere else.
This website
The words on rl.jonk.org describe the app. Sample films show up when there are some. Until then the empty frames are empty on purpose. The privacy policy explains what the app and the site do with information, which is very little.
As is
The app and the site are provided as they are. I will try not to break the loop. I am not promising that every burst, every phone, or every App Store will behave. iOS, the camera, Photos, iCloud, and the App Store belong to Apple, and they can change under the app.
